The Story of Mustard Seed Designs
How it all started.
Founded in 1992, JJ Ford, who was an Art/PE Major at Baylor, started painting, designing, and selling custom t-shirts to save money so she could marry her college sweetheart, Ray Ford. Mustard Seed Designs was born. Fast forward 10 years to when her husband, a small town OB/Gyn, was hanging his shingle out in Cleburne, TX. JJ was home raising 3 of her soon to be 5 children, but wanted some way to partner with Ray as he cared for his patients and helped bring new life into the world. Again, Mustard Seed Designs was revived as JJ handmade personalized burp rags for every baby Dr. Ford delivered in those 10 years of his service in Cleburne, TX. As God brought that time to a close, He moved their family of 7 to Oklahoma, where JJ continued to enjoy sewing gifts for people and the family, but her true love language became cooking and baking for people, especially her 5 children. Through the years she especially became interested in decorating sugar cookies. Every year with her 3 daughters, they would bake hundreds of cookies and invite all their friends over for an annual Christmas cookie decorating party. JJ became obsessed with cookie decorating and all the ways to cut out, design, and decorate cookies. And again, Mustard Seed Designs was born again. She now resides in Stillwater, OK with 2 of her 5 children still at home, and her OB/Gyn husband. She enjoys all kinds of baking and cooking and loves the creativity of decorating cookies for all kinds of special occasions.

MSD cookies are now available near Cleburne, TX in the DFW area. Hannah Marie Ford is carrying on the baking tradition and bringing these special cookies to Rio Vista, TX and the surrounding areas!!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are made with my homemade Madagascar vanilla, real butter, our very own cage-free Ford farm fresh eggs, and lots of chocolatey chunks and chips. They have a secret ingredient of peanut butter chips to make things exciting.  Can be made without the peanut butter chips if wanted, but they are so good with them!!  They are 3+ inches in diameter.
Snickerdoodle Cookies
$18/doz.
My daughter’s favorite, these bakery style cookies have a soft chewy bite, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.  They are also made from our homegrown ingredients of fresh cage-free eggs, homemade Madagascar vanilla, and real butter.
Oatmeal Raisin
$18/doz.
These soft chewy cookies are stuffed full of oats and raisins.  They are around 3 inches in diameter and will melt in your mouth.  These also are made with the same ingredients as the above cookies and can be substituted with chocolate chips instead of raisins.
Peanut Butter Cookies
$18/doz.
These bakery style cookies are slightly browned on the edges, but soft and thick all over.  These are made with cage free fresh Ford Farm eggs, homemade Madagascar vanilla, and real butter.  They are around 3 inches in diameter.

Custom Creation: individual logo, characters, custom designs with multiple colors and designs, hand painted, one of a kind cookies and extra large cookies: $65.00/doz 1 doz minimum
All cookies will be individually sealed in cellophane wrappers and packaged in a gift bakery box with a bow.
